Position: Electrical Instrumentation Technician
Location: Perth
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + SUPER
 
The Business
AustCorp Executive is working in partnership with a leading supplier and manufacturer of equipment for fluid transfer applications.
 
Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Technician who will be responsible for reengineering electrical motors to accommodate for the Australian Water Engineering market.
 
The Role

• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company guidelines and within time & cost targets.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for equipment (pumps, submersible pumps, mixers, valves and related systems).
• Diagnose, repair / replace and test malfunctioning apparatus and electronic components.
• Replace faulty electrical components of machinery.
• Ensure all equipment and tools in your care, custody or control is properly maintained and kept in a safe working condition.
• Ensure all equipment, spare parts and consumables are requested (as specified from technical drawings and manuals) in a timely manner.
• Undertake testing and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Other duties as reasonably required within the scope of the employee’s skills and experience.

 
The Requirements

• Relevant Trade Qualification/License Electrician, Electrical Fitter, Mechanical Electrical Fitter.
• Experience in overhaul, repair and rewire of motors, pumps and LV equipment.
• Fundamental PLC and control panel workshop experience.
