Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will focus on Leading and developing internal audits on a regular basis to ensure compliance, while ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  
This is a senior role where your responsibilities will be: 

• Lead, mentor and provide ongoing development to a small team.
• The development and verification of plant hygiene manual and sanitation standard operating procedures.
• Commitment to policies and procedures including OH&S legislation.
• Establishing and building relationships with suppliers & customers.
• Assess material risks and apply appropriate Quality Assurance measures.

To be successful in this role you will be:

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Food Technology) or equivalent
• You will have a sound knowledge of all food laws and regulations including audit level experience of HACCP and SQF or other Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Substantial experience as a Quality Assurance Manager, preferably within a high care environment.
• Experience leading small teams in achieving targeted KPIs.
• Have a high understanding of ISO and SQF.
• Worked in a similar environment (min. 3 years)
