Maintenance Electricians – FMCG Manufacturing
Brisbane, QLD
Excellent EA Rates + Penalties + Overtime

We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Electricians to join a growing maintenance team within a large-scale FMCG manufacturing operation based in Brisbane.
These are permanent opportunities offering strong job security, overtime opportunities, structured progression, and excellent enterprise agreement conditions within a fast-paced production environment.
Current Pay Structure Successful candidates will typically commence at Level 3, with opportunities to progress into Level 4 classifications based on skills, experience, and performance.
A new Enterprise Agreement is currently awaiting Fair Work approval, which includes an additional 3.5% pay increase scheduled for July.
Available Roles Primary Processing Department Vacancies
Day Shift: 4:00am – 2:30pm
Night Shift: 2:30pm – 1:00am
Rotating Roster
Day Shift: Monday – Friday | 5:00am – 1:30pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday – Friday | 12:15pm – 8:45pm
About the Role You will join an experienced maintenance team responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown response, reliability improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives across high-speed processing and packaging equipment.
This role offers a strong mix of reactive breakdown coverage and planned preventative maintenance work, with overtime opportunities available as operational needs arise.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production and packaging equipment
- Fault find and repair electrical systems efficiently
- Work safely in accordance with LOTO, WHS, HACCP, and GMP standards
- Complete maintenance documentation, work orders, and shift handovers
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Collaborate with operators, QA teams, and production supervisors
- Maintain high equipment uptime and plant reliability
- Current Australian Electrical Licence
- FMCG, food manufacturing, or industrial maintenance experience
- PLC and VSD fault-finding capability
- Experience with sensors, automation systems, motors, and controls
- Strong troubleshooting ability within fast-paced production environments
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Reliable and adaptable attitude
- Ability to work in cold-room environments (3–10°C)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
- Excellent EA rates + penalties + overtime
