We’re partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Brisbane’s central region, currently undergoing a major site restructure. This has created opportunities for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a stable, long-term team.

The role Working in a fast-paced FMCG production environment, you will:

• Carry out mechanical maintenance, breakdowns & repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance across production lines
• Work on processing and packaging equipment
• Support production to minimise downtime
• Collaborate closely with electricians and operations teams

What you’ll need

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Minimum 3+ years FMCG or industrial manufacturing experience
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills in production environments
• Experience working on high-speed machinery and processing lines
• Oxy welding – essential
• Reliable, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to work overtime when required

Nice to have

• Experience in food or beverage manufacturing
• Forklift licence
• Exposure to CMMS systems (MEX or similar)
