About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our Adelaide team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving growth across sectors including local government, utilities, and industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development and sales initiatives across South Australia and nationally.
- Identify new markets, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and partners.
- Collaborate with technical and project teams to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.
- Manage tenders, proposals, and the full sales process from prospecting to close.
- Report on sales pipeline, performance metrics, and market trends.

You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the water, infrastructure, environmental, or industrial sectors.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to grasp technical concepts and translate them into client value.
- A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- A valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel as required.
