They excited to announce a new job opportunity for a Business Development Manager to drive the development of the Nutraceutical and functional food and Infant Formula markets across Australia. The successful candidate can be based in any major Australian city.

The Role:
- Working with both established customers in NSW, QLD & VIC and developing new accounts, you will network internally with the GM, logistics and global product managers to create and fulfil your projects.
- Development and implementation of sales strategies for the nutraceutical, functional food & Infant Nutrition markets.
- Maintaining excellence in customer service (quotes, pricing and technical advice) across all areas of the territory and in doing so deliver sales revenue and gross profit targets.
- Pro-active engagement with current and new customers and brand sponsors to optimise market opportunities - Canvassing and strategies to enter new segments and business opportunities.
- Confidence to present and discuss technical and commercial matters and new product concepts to purchasing and new product development/technical contacts.
- Travel domestically and internationally from time to time.
- 10 years’ experience related to sales, negotiation and market analysis in food/supplement or infant nutrition space.
- Demonstrated multiple project management skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Have a passionate interest in innovative products, particularly within the nutraceutical and functional food markets.
- You will be driven to create market development opportunities, seeking out new customers across the Australian marketplace. You will strive continually to engage with trend-leading products in anticipation of future demands.
- A proven successful background in Sales and Business Development as well as appropriate tertiary qualifications, Degree level preferred.
