Base Criteria
Ideally tertiary qualified in Facilities Management, Business Management, Finance or Marketing along with a strong understanding of the full spectrum of Bid Pricing / Commercial Costing, Labour and Material Estimates of Remote Site / Village and Metro Cleaning, Catering & Grounds Services, along with Commercial Terms and Delivery strategies.
Outline Duties
You will undertake a lead role for your specialism supporting the Facilities Management Business Development Team responsible for all pricing / cost modelling of Soft Facilities Management Services (Cleaning, Catering, Grounds); Bid initiatives, strategy and delivery, to support the commercial and contractual viability of comprehensive service packages including services for the operation and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure.
Prior experience supporting a range of Bids, EOI’s, RFP’s to a variety of Facilities Contracts, such as: - Defence, Universities, Remote Villages / Camps and PPP’s is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Client consultations utilising commercial acumen to negotiate outcomes and contract compliance.
- Contract lifecycle management including, correspondence, reviews, variation, negotiations, invoice claims and contract renewals/extensions.
- Budget and forecasting operational activities and comprehending key performance drivers
- Tender modelling and margin analysis
- Contract Compliance, risk analysis
- Financial performance improvement (existing contracts) through awareness and improved business processes
- Build and develop internal and external relationships
- Manage the production of performance reports
Skills and Attributes
- Regional or National Bids / Commercial Management experience at a senior level within a major organisation.
- Proof of supporting successful Soft Services bids based on a solid analysis of customer needs
- Manage the Pricing / Review of existing contracts to support organic growth within all work streams and segments, as well as identifying growth sectors
- Develop the commercial capabilities and commercial strategy for your specialisms
- Undertake site or premises visits and walk arounds to effectively assess staffing and equipment requirements
- Hold or able to secure a National Police Check
- Strong Internal and External Stakeholder engagement skills.
- Full English proficiency (written and verbal) and strong experience on MS Office suite.
