As the Control Systems Engineer your key duties will include:
- The development, troubleshooting and optimisation of the existing PLC software.
- Optimising the existing mineral processing plant facilities.
- To be heavily involved in the creation and documentation for Functional Specifications, Factory Acceptance documentation and Site Acceptance documentation.
- Applying Advanced Process control logic to provide detailed analysis and predictions for the existing control system implementations.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, internal and external parties.
- 3-5 years minimum experience optimising control systems logic within the Mining industry.
- A Qualification or the relevant experience in Control Systems, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
- Can Confidently establish and consult the difference between Advanced Process Control and Traditional Control logic.
- Experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming – Python, Java or Matlab.
