Facilities Coordinator

Job description

Seeking a Facilities / Maintenance Coordinator based in Victoria to work on a 12-month contract (with a view to permanency for the right people). Responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of property maintenance services across a health care facility in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out day-to-day work order requisitions, take work order requests 
  • Work Order planning on BEIMS and financial updates on Procurement software
  • Manage contractors undertaking maintenance in a large site
  • Manage service queries and maintain effective communication with facilities managers and contractors
  • Undertakes site walk rounds and attend problems to see who needs to be allocated the job - internal staff or contractors
  • Demonstrate leadership in promoting a safe and compliant environment through adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Ensure contractor compliance and liaise with non-compliant contractors to meet regulatory requirements
  • Maintain records and ensure timely filing of service reports and documentation 
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in coordinating maintenance activities, ideally within a facilities management or similar environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in computer systems and databases; experience with CMMS or SAP systems
