Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the (Operations Manager/Project Engineer/Senior Engineer) in the managing of projects and resources for operations
- Assist in the review of the designs, specifications for the relevant projects and/or tenders
- Work closely and liaise with all members of the team, in relation to the delivery of goods and services on projects in the estimated time-frame
- Demonstrating and implementing safe work practices at all times onsite
- Ensure prompt identification and reporting of health and safety risks
Essential Criteria:
- Completed a Bachelor or Masters in Mechanical/Electrical/Control Systems Engineering (preferred) or related degree
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Autodesk suite (CAD) and or SolidWorks
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience
- Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with both internal and external parties
- Commerciality: the ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner
- Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members
- Time management/organization: accomplish objectives effectively within the time frame given and carry out administrative duties within the portfolio in an efficient and timely manner
- Continual development of engineering skills and industry knowledge required to advance within the company
- Natural Curiosity. Logical Thinking and Reasoning. Creativity and Innovation.
- Willingness to undertake site visits (metro/remote locations)
