Job description
Lead the ANZ growth strategy for a cutting-edge surgical robotics platform focused heavily within urology and minimally invasive surgery.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially driven medical device leader with strong surgical networks and hands-on experience working alongside Urologists, theatre teams, and hospital stakeholders across complex capital equipment environments.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager / Commercial Leader with a strong background in surgical robotics, urology, or advanced surgical capital equipment to drive growth across Australia & New Zealand.
You will play a critical role in building robotic surgery programs, driving clinical adoption, and developing long-term partnerships with leading Urologists, surgeons, procurement teams, and hospital executives.
This role is highly relationship-driven and ideal for someone who understands the operating theatre environment, can navigate complex hospital sales cycles, and is confident engaging with senior clinical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the ANZ commercial strategy for an advanced surgical robotics portfolio
• Build strong relationships with Urologists, robotic surgeons, theatre teams, and hospital executives
• Drive adoption and utilisation of robotic surgical technology across public and private hospitals
• Lead complex capital equipment sales cycles including tenders, pricing, negotiations, and implementation
• Partner closely with clinical specialists, service engineers, and leadership teams to ensure exceptional customer experience
• Support robotic program development, training, and ongoing clinical engagement
• Coach and develop a high-performing commercial and clinical support team
What We’re Looking For
• Strong experience within surgical robotics, urology, laparoscopy, or complex surgical capital equipment
• Existing relationships with Urologists and key hospital stakeholders highly regarded
• Proven track record selling into operating theatres and navigating complex hospital procurement pathways
• Experience leading high-value sales opportunities from strategy through to closure
• Commercially strategic, highly autonomous, and confident influencing senior stakeholders
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities
