Home Care - Area Manager
An opportunity exists for an experienced clinical leader to take ownership of care delivery across a portfolio of retirement living communities in South East Queensland. This role requires regular local travel between Southern Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
The Role
You will lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services across multiple sites, ensuring strong clinical governance, operational performance, and a consistent resident experience. The position combines clinical oversight, team leadership, and operational management.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee care and service delivery across multiple communities
- Manage care teams, including rostering, performance, development, and compliance
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality care aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards and legislation
- Drive clinical governance, continuous improvement, and audit readiness
- Manage care budgets, resources, and operational efficiency
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for residents
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare providers
- Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, sales, and support functions
- Participate in on-call and respond to escalations where required
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Proven leadership experience within Support at Home
- Strong understanding of aged care legislation, funding models, and compliance frameworks (including ACQSC and SIRS)
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive performance outcomes
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and resources
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to operate autonomously across multiple sites
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate clinical experience
- Leadership experience in aged care or community care
- Current driver’s licence, own vehicle and willingness to travel locally
- Base salary: circa $130,000 + superannuation + car allowance
