Due to growth in the Australian market, an exciting new opportunity exists for a Key Account Manager to join their team in Melbourne.
The Role:
Working from a home office and reporting into the Managing Director you will:
- Develop, formulate and implement a development plan for a portfolio of Key accounts in VIC and nationally.
- Understanding customers businesses and the market to maximise growth opportunities with business development pipeline activities.
- Responsible for developing sales leads and generating new business to achieve and exceed sales revenue with existing and potential customers
- Strong focus on the B2B Industrial client portfolio with the sales of our high-quality ingredients, bread improvers, fillings, custard cream mixes and more!!
- Organize regular conferences with internal teams to improve our overall performance with accounts assigned.
- Coordinate and/or negotiate the sales deals with the customers (pricing, delivery conditions etc…) and coordinate with headquarters and intercompany as necessary.
- Collaborate and take ownership by building efficient solutions that bring greater success to customers.
- Report progress on the account on regular basis and keep information up to date on CRM tools provided.
- Interstate and International travel required, although not excessive.
The Candidate:
- 5+ years sales experience ideally selling any type of food ingredient into a Manufacturer, or otherwise, will look at finished food product into retail or distribution market.
- We are seeking a very dynamic sales professional that is naturally driven and seeks a reputable company to join and build on their already amazing career path.
- A very stable background, ideally from outside of the bakery sector.
- Very strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and time management skills.
- A qualification in Food Science/Chemistry highly regarded.
