The Company:
My client is a global manufacturer of Food Ingredients and service the Food sector globally, providing highly experienced and comprehensive support to customers with a focus on creating technical solutions. They now seek a Key Account Manager in Melbourne to build on an maintain long term relationships with manufacturers in VIC and potentially Interstate.
The Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Establishing recurring revenue relationships with customers through on-site visits and regular touch points
• Responsible for developing sales leads and generating new business to achieve and exceed sales revenue
• Provide extensive technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes and address all product-related queries.
• Working closely with R&D teams to develop new products via customer specifications
• Managing planning and logistics to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled and dispatched on time
• Responsible for executing all marketing and industry trade events including: event implementation, customer prospecting and sales lead follow- through
The Candidate:
• 2-5 years previous sales experience - selling Food ingredients into Manufacturers.
• Must have a Qualification in (Food Science or Nutritional Science).
• Passion and drive to succeed in a commercial sales environment.
• Proven track record in providing technical solutions around food ingredients and formulation.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Excellent communication skills.
