Landscaping Leading Hand & Site Supervisor
Brisbane and Gold Coast
$35–$40/hr (Leading Hand) | $48–$52/hr (Supervisor) + Super + Vehicle
Join a Leading Commercial Landscaping Business in Brisbane We are working with a well-established landscaping contractor delivering large-scale commercial and civil projects across Brisbane, including schools, government sites, and major developments.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking both a Landscaping Leading Hand and a Site Supervisor to join the team.
The Opportunities
Leading Hand ($35–$40/hr + super + vehicle) A hands-on role supporting the Supervisor and leading day-to-day site activities. Ideal for a strong landscaper looking to step into leadership.
Site Supervisor ($48–$52/hr + super + vehicle + phone) Take ownership of projects, managing crews and subcontractors while ensuring delivery, quality, and safety on site.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Working on commercial landscaping & civil projects (schools, playgrounds, infrastructure)
- Construction of:
- Retaining walls (sandstone, sleepers)
- Concrete works, structures, and softscapes
- Creek beds, playgrounds, and outdoor environments
- Reading plans and setting out heights and levels
- Operating machinery (skid steer, excavator)
- Managing materials, labour, and subcontractors (Supervisor role)
- Maintaining safety, quality, and project timelines
- Experience in landscaping, civil, or construction environments
- Ability to work hands-on and lead by example
- Experience reading plans and setting out (essential for Supervisor)
- Machinery experience (skid steer, excavator)
- Strong work ethic and “can do” attitude
- Driver’s licence (MR desirable)
- Carpentry or chainsaw experience (advantage)
