Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator – Residential Aged Care
Goulburn, NSW
$39.33 per hour + super + salary packaging

About the Role
As the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning and delivery of individualised leisure and recreational programs that support the physical, emotional, social and cultural wellbeing of residents. You will work closely with the broader clinical and care team to ensure programs are aligned to individual needs and preferences, while driving engagement and participation across the home.

About the Role
As the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning and delivery of individualised leisure and recreational programs that support the physical, emotional, social and cultural wellbeing of residents. You will work closely with the broader clinical and care team to ensure programs are aligned to individual needs and preferences, while driving engagement and participation across the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver individual and group based lifestyle programs aligned to resident needs
- Complete leisure assessments and maintain accurate care plans and documentation
- Coordinate events, outings and activities that promote engagement and wellbeing
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams, families and external stakeholders
- Support and guide lifestyle staff and volunteers
- Ensure compliance with aged care standards, quality frameworks and documentation requirements
- Experience in leisure and lifestyle or diversional therapy within aged care or a similar environment
- Strong understanding of person centred care and resident engagement
- Ability to plan and deliver a wide range of meaningful activities for individuals and groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Sound knowledge of aged care standards and accreditation processes
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent
- Competitive hourly rate of $39.33 + super + salary packaging
