We’re currently partnering with a well-established, large-scale manufacturing business based in Melbourne’s western suburbs. With a strong reputation for quality and continuous investment in their operations, they are looking to bring on an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their day shift team.
Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring plant equipment and production lines are running efficiently with minimal downtime. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
- Perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations
- Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent)
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Proactive approach to maintenance and reliability
