Be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations division with a focus on developing staff, introduce process improvements and be prepared to work closely with collaborative teams when priorities arise.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience gained in a similar role within FMCG manufacturing environment.
- In depth knowledge and experience in a fast-moving FMCG site, particularly implementing production and packaging improvements.
- High level knowledge and/or experience in the area of manufacturing and knowledge of end-to-end supply in a FMCG function.
- Working closely with a number of stakeholders and teams such as Engineering, Senior management, NPD, maintenance, planning and Quality teams etc.
- Strong leadership skills that build cohesive teams, along with a productive and positive workplace culture.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal and external parties.
- Detailed orientated ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks to meet scheduling priorities, demands and timelines.
- Lean Practitioner / Quality Assurance certification and/or a relevant Food Safety Accreditation is preferred, however not essential.
- Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Experience in manufacturing processes in the FMCG industry.
