Role and Responsibilities:
You will preferably come from a timber, building or construction background with previous Factory Foreman / Production Manager / Joinery Manager experience.
- Excellent industry knowledge. You will be confident with analysing and interpreting architectural plans and specifications, as well as defining time, cost and labour estimates.
- Co-ordinate and attend project meetings, maintain meeting records, and agreed actions, and follow through to ensure actions are completed.
- The ability to understand the importance of regularly monitoring the progress and financial status of projects. Including job P&L reporting and annual forecasting
- Develop improvement recommendations to estimating procedures and identifying trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers.
- Engaging externally with builders, developers, installers, or other parties, to manage proactively the smooth delivery of our joinery projects, as well as providing support for fixes and rectifications
- Interpret check shop drawings and liaise with our team of drafters to amend as necessary.
- Provide regular project updates to management and clients
- The ability to manage priorities in a changing environment, with an emphasis on meeting client requirements within defined timeframes and budgets.
