AustCorp has been appointed to assist a major organisation undertaking a review of their existing Engineering Service delivery and implementing enhancements and improvements to aid overall Asset Lifecycle planning and delivery.
A great opportunity has arisen to join the Facilities Management & Building Maintenance division of a leading international company to provide Facilities and Asset advice and solutions.
You will hold a degree-level qualification in Mechanical / Hydraulic Engineering or Qualified Plumber and have a strong Facilities Management / Building Services Engineering background, including experience in Hotels, Hospitals, University Campuses, Research Facilities or Large Defence sites.
With over 6 years Engineering and Facilities Management consulting experience you will provide an effective Consultative interface with Site-based and Head-office stakeholders.
You will review existing Asset Lists, “As Built” drawings and verify Building Services Assets match location, make / model and additional specifications across potable water supply, drainage, sewerage systems and grease traps.
As the Subject Matter Expert for your discipline (Hydraulics); you will then provide advise around specific asset life cycles, identifying what may be nearing end-of-life, scope of works for outsourcing of ongoing asset maintenance or minor work replacements, and advising on updating SOPs to meet industry best practice and any Legislative changes that may have been implemented since the original SOPs were implemented.
An interactive communicator, with strong verbal and written skills; you will provide timely, accurate and detailed advice as well full Monthly Reporting (Client and Board); and lifecycle plans and strategy.
