Practice Manager – Medical Centres

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 + Super

Are you an experienced healthcare leader looking for an opportunity to oversee the operations of two established medical centres in the heart of the CBD?

We are seeking a Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of two busy medical centres located within walking distance of each other. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for operational performance, team leadership, customer experience, financial outcomes and compliance across both sites.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring both practices operate efficiently while delivering an exceptional patient experience and supporting high-quality clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of two medical centres
• Manage and develop reception, administration and support teams
• Drive a positive team culture and high-performance environment
• Oversee workforce planning, rostering and resource allocation
• Manage budgets, financial performance and operational KPIs
• Support patient experience initiatives and complaint resolution
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, healthcare regulations and privacy requirements
• Monitor and improve practice systems, workflows and operational processes
• Partner closely with clinicians and support staff to ensure smooth service delivery
• Contribute to business growth and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Previous Practice Manager manager experience at a GP centre (4 years + experience)
• Strong people leadership and team development skills
• Experience managing budgets, financial performance and operational outcomes
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and Medicare Rebates
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management capability
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites
• Experience within medical centres, primary care, specialist clinics or healthcare services highly regarded
