Due to consistent growth They now seeking to appoint a Senior Production Manager to lead and inspire, to work autonomously or as part of a team, to implement and execute the delivery of capital equipment, ensuring projects are completed in line with the contracted delivery times, meet quality requirements and maximise sales margins. Role based in Bathurst.
About the Role

About the Role
Minimum weekly hours to be 40 hrs. Working closely with the Operation Manager, your duties will include, but not limited to;
- Safely execute projects, throughout the project lifecycle from sales handover, to meeting customers specifications, delivery, and contractual expectations
- Overseeing production to guarantee adherence to production and quality standards
- Oversee and manage the production staff of approx. 60-70 at any one point
- Constantly work on improving staff performances, efficiencies and outputs
- Develop and execute a project plan for the completion of the projects, informing & continuing to liaise with key stakeholders throughout the project including suppliers, clients and internal divisions.
- Liaise with the Project Manager & Procurement teams to coordinate the supply of materials and parts in line with the project plan to meet contractual delivery dates
- Expedite delivery as required or amend production plans with appropriate advice to clients and other internal stakeholders if delays are predicted.
- Work to resolve difficult to moderately complex problems producing solutions which improve the established procedure/process
You will be enthusiastic, results driven can-do person ideally having experience within the mining or industrial space. You will also possess;
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Previous experience in a similar Supervisory or Managerial position, specifically within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
- Excellent time management skills covering a diverse workload
- Quality Conscience, knowledge of ISO 9000 an advantage
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
- Strong safety focus
- Consultative hands-on approach with a diverse workforce
- Must be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident of Australia
