What will you do?  
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of established industrial customers across the territory
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within industrial process markets
  • Conduct site visits, technical assessments, and product demonstrations
  • Work closely with customers to understand process challenges and deliver tailored engineering solutions
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and value-based recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and technical support teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships as a technical advisor rather than a transactional salesperson
  • Drive consistent territory growth through both account management and new business development  
What will you need?  
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification, or strong technical background in a related field
  • Proven experience in technical sales or business development within industrial environments
  • Strong understanding of industrial/process equipment such as pumps, valves, fluid handling systems, filtration, or automation
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into commercial solutions
  • Full Australian working rights without requiring sponsorship
Ideal Backgrounds
  
You may currently be working in or have experience across:  
  • Industrial process equipment sales or distribution
  • Pumps, valves, seals, filtration, or fluid handling systems
  • Automation, instrumentation, or control systems
  • Technical field sales within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors
