This is a rare opportunity to step into a fully functioning ANZ payroll, stepping in as the current Payroll Officer retires after long-term tenure.

You’ll take full ownership of 350 staff across Australia & New Zealand, working directly with regional leadership across Singapore and Malaysia, while supporting a broader APAC transformation.

The role
You’ll be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant payroll across ANZ in a standalone capacity, supported by HR and Finance.
  • End-to-end payroll processing (monthly + off-cycle)
  • 350 employees across Australia & New Zealand
  • Payroll cycle: 15th of the month (split advance/arrears)
  • Super, payroll tax, workers comp & monthly insurances
  • Payroll journals, reporting, reconciliations & audits
  • Managing employee queries via Workday
  • Interpreting modern awards and ensuring compliance
What you need to succeed
  • Proven experience running end-to-end payroll autonomously
  • Strong knowledge of ANZ payroll legislation & modern awards
  • Experience with ADP Payforce (essential)
  • Comfortable working across regional stakeholders (APAC)
  • High attention to detail with a compliance-first mindset
The environment
  • Hybrid: Monday, Tuesday + Thursday in office
  • Based in Western Sydney (Kemps Creek ideal or Paramatta)
