This is a rare opportunity to step into a fully functioning ANZ payroll, stepping in as the current Payroll Officer retires after long-term tenure.
You’ll take full ownership of 350 staff across Australia & New Zealand, working directly with regional leadership across Singapore and Malaysia, while supporting a broader APAC transformation.

You’ll be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant payroll across ANZ in a standalone capacity, supported by HR and Finance.
- End-to-end payroll processing (monthly + off-cycle)
- 350 employees across Australia & New Zealand
- Payroll cycle: 15th of the month (split advance/arrears)
- Super, payroll tax, workers comp & monthly insurances
- Payroll journals, reporting, reconciliations & audits
- Managing employee queries via Workday
- Interpreting modern awards and ensuring compliance
- Proven experience running end-to-end payroll autonomously
- Strong knowledge of ANZ payroll legislation & modern awards
- Experience with ADP Payforce (essential)
- Comfortable working across regional stakeholders (APAC)
- High attention to detail with a compliance-first mindset
- Hybrid: Monday, Tuesday + Thursday in office
- Based in Western Sydney (Kemps Creek ideal or Paramatta)

- Handover required before 1st June
