Senior Quality Clinical Manager
Residential Aged Care

A leading aged care provider is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Care Manager to support and strengthen quality, governance and continuous improvement outcomes across a portfolio of Residential Aged Care homes.

This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to an experienced aged care professional with strong people management capability, extensive quality and compliance experience and a solid clinical background within Residential Aged Care environments.

The Role

Working closely with senior governance and operational leaders, you will oversee service-level quality assurance activities, support site leadership teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple aged care homes.

You will play a key role in strengthening governance frameworks, supporting audits and accreditation outcomes, coaching operational leaders and ensuring high standards of resident-centred care are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across Residential Aged Care services
  • Support homes with accreditation readiness, audits, incident management and compliance outcomes
  • Monitor and analyse quality indicators, trends, incidents and audit findings to identify improvement opportunities
  • Coach and mentor operational and clinical leaders to strengthen capability and accountability
  • Support governance, risk management and escalation processes across services
  • Drive evidence-based improvements focused on resident safety, experience and care outcomes
  • Partner with operational teams to embed best practice clinical governance frameworks
  • Support investigations, complaint management and regulatory responses where required
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation
About You
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management or senior leadership role
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience within senior quality, compliance or governance focused positions
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within clinical leadership roles
  • Strong people management and coaching capability
  • Current or recent experience working within Residential Aged Care
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation and clinical governance frameworks
  • Experience leading audits, investigations, incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to support teams through change, operational pressures and quality improvement activity
