We are partnering with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business delivering complex structural steel solutions across industrial, infrastructure, mining, energy and commercial projects throughout Australia.

Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, we are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer (RPEQ) to provide engineering leadership and sign-off authority across a diverse portfolio of structural steel projects.

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected team where you will play a key role in design verification, compliance, technical leadership and project delivery.

The Role Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for reviewing, certifying and supporting the design and delivery of structural steel projects from concept through to fabrication and construction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Structural analysis and design of industrial steel structures
• RPEQ certification and sign-off of engineering documentation
• Reviewing structural calculations, drawings and design packages
• Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and relevant codes
• Providing technical guidance to engineers, detailers and project teams
• Liaising with clients, fabricators, contractors and external stakeholders
• Conducting site inspections and engineering assessments as required
• Supporting tender submissions and value-engineering initiatives
• Assisting with quality assurance and continuous improvement processes

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering
• Current RPEQ registration (essential)
• Proven experience designing and certifying structural steel projects
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, including steel design codes
• Experience within industrial, mining, infrastructure, manufacturing or heavy engineering environments
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work autonomously while mentoring junior engineers
