About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- An exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join the team in Melbourne.
- Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing strong customer relationships, providing the customers support, and driving sales growth across existing and new markets.
- This role offers the chance to work closely with customers to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions, while also collaborating with our strategic Principals to achieve shared goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and strengthen customer relationships.
- Achieve sales and inventory targets.
- Develop new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
- Provide technical support and customised solutions to customers.
- Collaborate with Principals to achieve agreed business goals.
- Monitor market trends and capture market intelligence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, values, and ethical standards.
- Work closely with the wider sales team to maximise cross-selling opportunities.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales within the Coatings Industry.
- Bachelor of Science (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar).
- Strong passion for sales with a proven ability to achieve targets.
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-focused, with the ability to work independently.
