About the role:
An exceptional opportunity to join the Melbourne team has arisen. As the Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will effectively and efficiently manage all functions of the Accounts department on-site in accordance with company policies and legislative requirements. Reporting to the Site Manager.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate a timely, efficient and accurate service to customers making sure that all areas of the position are covered.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable payments to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Credit control experience, chasing customers that have not paid overdue invoices.
- Manage the reconciliation of invoices.
- Also providing customer service, including answering enquiries.
- Assist with the management of equipment hiring agencies including administration of pallet movement and control.
- Other ad hoc duties also.
- 2 years in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Great customer service focus.
- Organised individual with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to a number of different systems and the ability to efficiently learn new systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Previous experience working in an FMCG environment or similar role is highly regarded.
- You must be prepared to work industry hours which includes very early mornings and occasional weekend availability, and the willingness to take calls after hours.
