About the Company:
Our client is a well-established consultancy specialising in acoustic design for the built environment. Known for their technical expertise and strong industry reputation, they provide end-to-end acoustic solutions for a wide range of clients, including architects, developers, and government bodies.

The Role:
As an Acoustic Consultant Engineer, you will work on the acoustic design and assessment of building projects across multiple sectors. You’ll contribute to the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to implementation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct acoustic assessments, modelling, and design for buildings and related infrastructure
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate acoustic requirements into project plans
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, specifications, and recommendations
  • Utilise acoustic modelling and measurement tools to support design decisions
  • Stay informed on relevant standards, codes, and acoustic innovations
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team culture
About You:
  • Degree in Acoustic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • 2–5 years’ experience in building acoustics or related consultancy fields
  • Strong understanding of acoustic principles, building codes, and noise control solutions
  • Proficient in software such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA, or similar modelling tools
  • Confident communicator with strong report writing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects to deadline
