Area Sales Manager - Pharmaceuticals/OTC
This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, expanding market presence, and developing strong commercial relationships within the pharmacy sector.

You’ll play a key part in driving sales, launching new products, and building long-term partnerships that align with broader business goals. The ideal candidate is commercially astute, highly motivated, and confident engaging with independent pharmacy stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities within the independent pharmacy channel
  • Deliver on territory sales targets and growth objectives
  • Develop and execute account plans to support business priorities and customer needs
  • Support product launches and promotional strategies within the territory
  • Build trusted relationships with pharmacy owners, decision-makers, and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and commercial agreements in collaboration with finance and sales teams
  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients to ensure a smooth and successful transition
  • Monitor industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity to inform strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Provide regular reporting on performance, opportunities, and territory insights
Requirements
  • Previous B2B sales experience
  • Qualification in Science, Pharmaceuticals or related degree
