AUSTCORP is seeking a number of skilled and experienced asphalter for ongoing work based from Yatala! 

Responsibilities:

• Perform asphalt paving and road construction tasks according to project specifications.
• Operate and maintain asphalt equipment, including pavers, rollers, and other machinery.
• Assist in the preparation of work sites, including clearing debris, setting up barricades, and ensuring safety measures are in place.
• Lay asphalt to the required thickness and ensure proper compaction for durability.
• Repair and patch damaged roadways, sidewalks, and driveways.
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and tampers to finish surfaces.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Asphalt Road Worker or similar role.
• Knowledge of asphalt materials, mixtures, and application techniques.
• Ability to operate and maintain asphalt equipment and machinery.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
