AUSTCORP is seeking experienced asphalt crew members to join our customers team in Wide Bay. As an asphalt crew member, you will play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of asphalt pavements and surfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare asphalt surfaces by removing debris and cleaning the area
• Operate and maintain asphalt paving equipment
• Lay and repair asphalt pavements, ensuring proper compaction and smooth finish
• Assist in measuring and marking pavement areas
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects

Requirements:

• Ideally a Minimum of 2 years of experience working in asphalt construction or maintenance
• Strong knowledge of asphalt materials, equipment, and techniques
• Ability to operate and maintain various asphalt paving equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
