Industrial Automation Electrician – Manufacturing (Tumbarumba, NSW)

About the Role

You’ll be part of a close-knit maintenance team supporting automated production systems across a modern processing facility. Your expertise in control systems, fault-finding and reliability engineering will ensure smooth and efficient plant operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and fault diagnosis on PLC, SCADA and drive systems
  • Lead improvement projects to increase uptime and performance
  • Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
  • Drive proactive maintenance planning and execution
  • Support safe work practices and continuous improvement culture
Skills & Experience
  • Trade-qualified Electrician with industrial experience
  • Strong background in PLC, SCADA and automation control systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimise AC drives and process equipment
  • Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
