What You’ll Be Doing
- Commissioning and testing AV systems across diverse commercial environments
- Working with DSPs (Biamp, Q-SYS, BSS), control systems (Crestron, Extron), and AV-over-IP platforms
- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues onsite with minimal supervision
- Configuring, calibrating, and documenting system performance
- Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth handovers
- Providing occasional support during installation or integration if required
- Experience in AV commissioning, integration, or service roles
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial AV systems (DSPs, control systems, video distribution, networking)
- Confidence in configuring and troubleshooting Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Extron or similar platforms
- Ability to interpret schematics, signal flow diagrams, and project documentation
- Excellent client communication skills—you know how to explain tech in plain English
- A proactive, quality-first mindset and ability to work autonomously onsite
- Current driver’s license and appropriate work rights for Australia
- $90K–$110K+ salary package, based on experience + vehicle allowance and other benefits.
