Job Title: Production / Batching Operator
Location: Wacol, QLD
Pay Rate: $34/hr | 6 Month Contract | Immediate Start
A well-established and highly automated manufacturing facility based in Wacol is currently seeking an experienced Production / Batching Operator to join their production team. This site supplies products across the construction and industrial sectors and offers a strong safety culture, modern equipment, and a supportive team environment.
This is a 6-month PERMANENT Contract opportunity with immediate start, with potential for extension or permanent employment for reliable performers. This role will suit candidates with experience in manufacturing, batching, mixing, concrete, powder, chemical, mining, or food production environments.

Shift Times
- Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
- $34 per hour + penalties where applicable
- Operate automated batching, mixing, and blending equipment
- Weigh and measure raw materials to production specifications
- Load materials into hoppers, silos, and mixing systems
- Monitor conveyors, mixers, bagging, and filling lines
- Operate forklifts (high reach & counterbalance) to move materials
- Complete batch sheets and production paperwork
- Perform quality checks and follow safety procedures
- Assist with changeovers, clean downs, and general housekeeping
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to meet daily targets
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Current Forklift Licence (LF) — high reach & counterbalance required
- Previous experience in manufacturing / production environment
- Batching / mixing / process experience highly desirable
- Experience in concrete, powder, chemical, food, or industrial manufacturing preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced and physical role
- Strong safety awareness and reliable work history
- Able to commit to a 6-month contract
