The Company:
My client is one of the world’s premier manufacturers of mechanical power transmission & related products. Founded in the early 1900’s, and with market presence across 70 countries, their company has a high reputation in the market place for product quality and service. They are seeking a BDM to join their team based in Sydney.
  
  
The Role
  • Reporting to the National Business Development Manager
  • Responsible for new business sales in NSW
  • Utilising an existing and growing pipeline of prospects
  • Creative thinking to generate leads/quotes in new industries and markets
  • Balancing time and sales between established and prospective customers
  • Weekly planning, tracking progress to sales goals and staying organised with your pipeline
  • Keeping the CRM up to date
  • Achieve sales budget for allocated existing customers and new business budget driving sales through market sectors such as:
    • Food & Beverage manufacturers
    • Quarries
    • Mining
  
The Candidate:
  • 3+ years in a sales role, selling any type of industrial mechanical product solution, into markets mentioned. Products such as:
    • Bearings and Power Transmission
    • Hydraulics or Pneumatics
    • Process equipment
    • Mechanical gear boxes and motors
  • Must be reliable and good operator
  • Strong planning and executing skills
  • Seeking candidates with a dynamic flair in sales, with effective communication skills for negotiation
  • Candidate with a Mechanical trade or qualification well regarded
  • Must be a team player
