About the Role:
As Branch Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Muswellbrook branch while also playing a key role in technical sales, project coordination, and customer service.
You’ll be responsible for managing staff, ensuring smooth store operations, liaising with suppliers, and supporting clients with both product supply and small infrastructure projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of operational management and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising branch staff, including junior sales team members
- Managing customer relationships and supporting sales across the ag, mining, and civil sectors
- Preparing quotes, processing invoices, and coordinating delivery and project timelines
- Working with suppliers to manage pricing, inventory, and lead times
- Driving commercial performance in line with sales targets and branch budgets
- Collaborating with senior sales and technical teams on project-based work
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a combination of technical knowledge, customer service experience, and practical leadership skills.
We’re looking for:
- Experience in pumps, irrigation, water transfer systems, or similar technical industries
- Exposure to agricultural, mining, or civil markets
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Experience in branch operations, quoting, and inventory management
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred but not essential)
- Autonomous leadership role with ownership of a key regional branch
