The Opportunity
As the Business Development Executive for Victoria, you will:
- Own the full enterprise/government sales cycle
- Apply disciplined methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, etc.) for opportunity qualification and advancement
- Drive a structured process from discovery → solution alignment → proposal → RFP/tender → close
- Work closely with pre-sales engineers, solutions architects, and project delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions from scoping to delivery
- Grow long-term value through managed services and recurring revenue offerings
- Represent the Victorian arm of a business known for technical depth, trust, and delivery excellence
- Experience selling technology solutions in Australia (AV, ICT, UC, SaaS, digital platforms, or similar)
- A track record securing and growing enterprise or government accounts
- Working knowledge of MEDDPICC or similar structured sales frameworks
- Comfort navigating long, complex sales cycles, procurement gates, and multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong rapport-building skills with CIOs, CTOs, COOs, IT leads, and procurement teams
- A hunter mentality backed by consultative, solution-first thinking
- Strong commercial acumen and qualification discipline
