Austcorp Executive is partnering with a ASX listed Technology company, who specialises in manufacturing Engineered Products to service the mining and resources sector.

We are actively recruiting for a Business Development Manager to lead a team and play a key role in the commercial growth of the business.

Your job will include:

• Driving new sales and business development with existing and prospective mining clients by servicing and growing a global portfolio. 
• You and your team will be selling engineered products, which optimise and support mining operations - for surface and underground environments.
• Set a clear example for the team by leading from the front and 'doing'.
• Manage all sales data across a full life-cycle from inception to close.
• Produce and present accurate sales reports. 
• Identifying the pain points of the mining customers operations and providing strategic product solutions.
• Lead negotiations and technical product presentations.
• Interfacing with Manufacturing, Procurement, Management, HR and Engineering across the whole sales cycle.

Your professional background will include:

• At least 5 years experience in a sales management role in the mining & technology sector.
• A proven track record growing a mining portfolio by winning business and closing sales.
• A tertiary Engineering background or the technical aptitude to grasp complex concepts immediately.
• A deep understanding of a mine site landscape for both the surface and underground environments.
