About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Manager based in Kalgoorlie, to grow our client base and strengthen relationships throughout the WA mining regions. You will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, delivering technical sales solutions, and driving revenue growth aligned with our strategic goals.

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Manager based in Kalgoorlie, to grow our client base and strengthen relationships throughout the WA mining regions. You will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, delivering technical sales solutions, and driving revenue growth aligned with our strategic goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Trade qualified (mechanical or electrical) with strong knowledge of the submersible pumps market preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ proven track record in pumps sales and marketing
- Experience in the sales of pumps for mining processing will be a huge advantage
- Well-established network within the WA mining industry
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in new business development, sales strategies, and negotiation
- Self-motivated “hunter” with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with frequent travel across WA, including remote mining sites — looking for fit road warriors not afraid of road and air travel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Hold a current Australian driver’s license
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the WA mining sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Collaborate with the sales and technical support team to develop and implement sales strategies
- Regularly visit clients and mining sites across WA to provide face-to-face service and technical support
- Assess client pumping applications, provide expert advice, and prepare accurate quotes
- Interpret process flow sheets and pump curves to ensure the right solutions are offered
- Meet or exceed branch sales targets and KPIs in line with company objectives
