About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading supplier of engineered fluid handling solutions. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in driving growth across key industries including mining, oil & gas, infrastructure, and water by delivering high-performance pumps, compressors, and packaged systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities across Queensland and the East Coast
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, EPCs, engineers, and end-users
  • Promote a full range of engineered rotating equipment and fluid handling systems
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to deliver best-fit proposals and technical solutions
  • Manage the full sales process: lead generation, proposals, negotiations, and closing
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as needed
Skills & Experience:
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering – or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales or business development, ideally in the industrial or rotating equipment sectors
  • Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and deliver complex technical proposals
  • Willingness to travel across the region as required
  • Strong technical knowledge of pumps, compressors, and packaged systems
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as API 610, 675, or 685 is a plus
