We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new growth, expand market presence, and build long-term partnerships across key industry sectors.
The Role
Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across diverse sectors (FMCG, manufacturing, retail, logistics).
- Building and managing strong client relationships, ensuring solutions are tailored to customer needs.
- Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Preparing proposals, presentations, and tenders to secure new contracts.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of logistics solutions.
- Representing the company at industry events and trade shows.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of freight, warehousing, and distribution services (3PL experience highly regarded).
- A track record of achieving sales targets and securing new business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
