Austcorp Executive are partnering with a leading designer and manufacturer of customized road transport and waste equipment serving the transport, waste, mining and general freight industries.

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to work out of their Perth branch. This role will develop and grow their client portfolio in WA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the heavy mobile or transport equipment industry. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Identify and develop new business within the transport, waste and heavy transport equipment sector
• Maintain in depth knowledge of companies product
• Prepare quotations and sales proposals
• Work in collaboration with General Manager and Sales Team
• Manage and grow current accounts 

Experience Required 

• 3 - 5 years sales experience with heavy mobile or heavy transport equipment or selling to local councils, waste companies (highly regarded)
• A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast- paced work environment
• Experience working with a manufacturing company (Highly Desirable)
