The Role:
This Business Development Manager is an individual contributor working with supported employees to identify employment opportunities, considering labour capabilities and services offered. Work with existing clients to find gaps where you can provide labour opportunities, and explore new clients and markets to offer a rewarding service.
This is a hands-on position, where the successful candidate will:
- Come up with ideas to match supported employees (people with disabilities) with services they can provide to a client
- Identify client needs and upsell where already providing services to a client and maintain relationships
- Develop relationships with new networks and generate leads
- Improve the growth and stability of the business through engaging the supported workforce and finding meaningful employment opportunities
Requirements:
- Experience in the disability sector or not for profit space
- Experience in a Sales/BD role
- A positive attitude and motivation to achieve results
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative, proactive approach, compassionate and resilient
- Confident communicator to provide advice to the management team and liaise with clients.
