Company 
My client designs, manufactures and supplies a wide range of specialist commercial furniture to the hospitality industry. They have been established for more than twenty years and has become one of Australia's largest stockists of Bentwood Chairs for cafes and restaurants across Australia. Their furniture range has expanded dramatically in recent years and it's exciting times to be joining my client as they continue to rapidly grow. 

Role
This role will see you managing my client's key accounts and bringing in new business across NSW. You will work closely with property Owners, General Managers, Architects, Specifiers and Project Managers to transform their venues and add value to their offering. There are lots of opportunities to grow with the business as you bring in new accounts and help grow their current accounts. You will have lots of autonomy in your role and will be rewarded for your hard work. This role requires you to build strong relationships with key decision-makers and represent the brand to the highest level. 

Skills & Experience
You must have the following to be successful for this opportunity:
  • Previous commercial furniture experience within the Sydney Market
  • An energetic, positive approach to your work and sales career
  • Excellent at building relationships and managing a pipeline
  • Maintaining and developing existing contacts/relationships in the industry is critical
  • Contacts within the industry are highly desirable
  • A proven track record (of 3 years or more) in sales and business development to the Pubs and Restaurants or Hospitality sector is preferred
  • Experience with design and specification is highly desired
  • Be goal/growth orientated. Consistently meet and surpass sales and performance targets
  • Be capable of working autonomously towards developing your market and a team player when coordinating your projects with your production and operational team
  • A real problem solver, showing lateral thinking and proactive capabilities
