The Company
My client is seeking a BDM to support growth within Western Australia’s mining and resource sector. A globally recognised engineering and manufacturing organisation operating across multiple continents, supporting a wide range of heavy industrial sectors.

What we're looking for: 
  • Experience within the mining sector, industrial, or technical sales.
  • A demonstrable ability to manage technical sales cycles and project development within operating mining environments.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning, project workflows, shutdown schedules, and site operational requirements.
  • The ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment and respond proactively to challenges.
  • A current driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Western Australia.

The Role
  • Identifying and securing opportunities connected to ongoing site upgrades, maintenance programs, and replacement cycles across various commodities.
  • Building long-term relationships with engineering, operations, maintenance, and procurement teams to promote the adoption of our technologies.
  • Developing and managing a robust project pipeline, including recurring service or product demand.
  • Working with internal commercial and technical teams to ensure strategic alignment and support long-term revenue objectives.
  • Providing product and system knowledge to customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Reviewing site standards, maintenance scopes, and technical specifications to propose suitable alternatives that improve reliability or reduce lifecycle costs.
  • Supporting customer field trials, implementation activities, and troubleshooting when required.
  • Coordinating with internal engineering and operational departments to deliver tailored solutions.
