Care Manager – Aged Care (6-Month Contract) | Bendigo, VIC

We’re looking for an experienced Care Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract to lead and support a dedicated clinical team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in a welcoming and professional environment.

With strong opportunity to go permanent here or at anything site following this contract should you be open to it!

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the clinical team
  • Manage performance, training, and staff development
  • Ensure compliance with AN-ACC assessments and aged care standards
  • Conduct audits and review clinical incidents and feedback
  • Lead person-centred care planning and family case conferencing
  • Manage medication administration processes and clinical documentation
  • Liaise with allied health, GPs, and external care providers
About You
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
  • Post-graduate qualifications in aged care (highly regarded)
  • Proven leadership experience in aged care or acute settings (min. 30-bed facility)
  • Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and documentation skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and resident rights
