Job description

This is a great opportunity to join a multinational Facility Management business, and support their regional WA based client as the Catering Manager on a 2&1 roster.
 
The role:
  • Responsible for the operations of the kitchen facilities and food services - including quality, hygiene, safety, auditing etc
  • Reporting to the Village Manager, preparing reports and recommendations for improvements
  • Deliver F&B services and participate in audits and quality control - food safety and hygiene is the highest priority
  • Maintaining health and safety, must be fully conversant in HACCP, PPE, compliance, auditing and reporting
  • Operations focused as well as commitment to deliver best-practice customer service and consider client satisfaction
  • Ensure office support functions are delivered
  • Flying from Perth on 2 weeks on & 1 week off roster
The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience in managing kitchens for village of up to 500 pax (or more)
  • Previous FIFO experience preferred
  • A strong background in Food and hands on experience as Chef preferable 
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure
  • Strong quality control processes
  • People management of Chefs and 
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good planning, organising and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
