About the Role

We are seeking experienced Clinical Nurses for contract roles (4–12 weeks) across rural and remote Queensland. These positions offer the opportunity to deliver high-impact healthcare services in a range of settings including hospitals, primary care clinics, and outreach services.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership in acute care environments
• Perform comprehensive assessments, clinical documentation, and medication administration
• Triage presentations across emergency, medical, and primary care services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally appropriate, patient-centered care
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and safety standards

  
Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an acute care setting
• Valid Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Valid Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Triage qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience
• Willingness to work across varied rural QLD locations
• Current driver’s licence and ability to travel as required

Highly Desirable

• Completion of MEC/REC (Managing Emergencies in the Community / Remote Emergency Care)
• Previous experience in rural, remote, or Indigenous health settings
