This is a great opportunity for an experienced Head of Estimating / Commercial Manager to lead a team of well established estimators.
Reporting directly to the Director and working alongside the commercial team, you will provide leadership and commercial expertise to the wider Business Growth team.

Outline of the Role:

• Oversee the drafting and review of estimates and tenders, including specifications, pricing and modelling.
• Effectively manage, mentor and lead the estimating team members to ensure that the estimating process meets the criteria. 
• Evaluate and report any changes to the set schedule, ensuring the schedule is updated to reflect this.
• Take corrective action to resolve any problems associated with tender and estimating activities.
• Contribute to the overall management of the project delivery.
• Assist with tender quantities and subcontractor quotes and variation pricing where required.

Skills and Attributes:

• Ideally degree qualified in Construction, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or Finance along with a strong understanding of Facilities Management Minor Works and Construction Capex Projects.
• You will have strong Project Estimating and Pricing experience along with advanced Modelling skills.
• A strong understanding of pricing complexities, technical abilities and analytical skills.
• An excellent communicator, with strong English language skills, you will provide clear and concise instructions.
• Experienced at collating Project Data (finance, timeframe, variations, challenges, LTIs) and Reporting to all stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness is essential.
